“Mochilas de Amor” arrive in Haiti

The first of 1,500 ”love” backpacks for the children of LADH arrived on Valentines Day. They were flown by a group of pilots from Aeroclub de Puerto Rico who donated their time and airplanes for the wonderful endeavor.

These backpacks were collected in various schools in Puerto Rico — Colegio Puertorriqueno de Ninas, St. Johns School y la Escuela Josefita Monserrate de Selles. They are a present from the children of Puerto Rico to the children of LADH.
